English!

As you may or may not now, Group T is an International University College, which means at least 12,5% of its students is international.

As we represent all students, we can't allow ourselves to communicate only in Dutch.
From now on you'll find all - or at least most - information of Studentenraad on the English website, which you are reading now.

Unique elections!

As there are more candidates than mandates for next years’ Student Council, ‘real elections’ are about to be organised for the first time ever.

In absolute terms this means that only 20 out of 30 candidates can be elected.

IMPORTANT:
You should not vote for everyone (using the first choice on the ballot) but you should opt for the person(s) of whom you think will be a good student representative.

Ask yourself:

"Who is the best person to represent the opinion of the students?"

That's what student representation is all about.

International:
This year, we did have an international student in the student council but we didn't really have a separate international council. For next year, none of the international students is up for election but we have several international students who are interested to work with the student council. We think this is something good and we'll try to expand this cooperation next year.
Even if you can't vote for an 'international student', we do want to  emphasize that it is still important to vote because the Student Council is also there for you!

When to vote: Thursday 6th of May 2010, between 11am and 6pm in the atrium.

See you May 6 or during the election week!
